“As a companion to Mario Fischer on his journey, I have come to deeply appreciate how he combines close attention to detail with a broad vision for the future that we are all helping to shape.”
Prof. Dr Miriam Rose, Basel University, former Presidium member of the CPCE Council
“Mario Fischer has a deep and thorough knowledge of the historical and contemporary socio-cultural contexts of the Protestant churches in East-Central Europe, combined with a sensitive understanding of the challenges arising from this context. And beyond that—or perhaps precisely because of it—he is committed to building bridges with care and compassion.”

“As a companion to Susanne Schenk on her journey, I am delighted that she can now contribute her gifts for networking, theological reflection, and long-term vision to CPCE as General Secretary.”
