Daniel Hörsch is a social scientist and consultant at midi, the Evangelical Centre for Mission in the Region of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD). His work and publications focus on topics such as church, social sciences, digital proclamation, worship formats, and missional church development.

John Bell is a Scottish hymn writer, Church of Scotland minister, writer, broadcaster, and member of the Iona Community. He is closely associated with the Iona Community’s worship and music work, especially through the Wild Goose Resource Group.

The dinner will be served at the venue - in the cafetaria.

After the discussion we enter a coffee break.

Two different voices present their supposed different view on the limits of what churches do regarding blessing.

The focus goes to funeral. As introduction for the participants a "mini podium" will open the discussion. The discussions are led by Rev. Dr Annette Gruschwitz (CPCE Board of Liturgy). On the podium are Rev. Rainer Haimburger (Germany), Rev. Gunnhild Nordgaard Hermstat (Norway) and Rev. Dr Thóth Kárloy (Hungary) - t.b.c

Now is the opportunity to participate in the second chosen workshop.

Prof. Dr Jochen Arnold (Germany), Rev John Bell (Scotland) are analysing and singing with the audience hymns collected from the CPCE member churches.

The night prayer is led by Rev. Henrike Frey-Anthes.

The morgning prayer ist led by Rev. Dr. Jan-Philipp Behr. 

Harald Hegstad (Norway)

Harald Hegstad is chair of the Church Council of the Church of Norway,  and professor of systematic theology at MF Norwegian School of Theology, Religion and Society in Oslo. He is especially known for work in ecclesiology.  He has written on topics such as the nature of the church, Lutheran theology, baptism, dogmatics, and the relationship between systematic and practical theology. 

A second focus goes on weddings. To open the discussion an "mini podium" starts debates on the topic. The podium is led by Dr. Peter Meyer (director of the "Zentrum Verkündigung"). On the podium are Rev. Dr Erika Stalcup (CH), Rev. Bujok Adam (PL) - t.b.c, Rev. Gregorio Plescan (It).

The Eucharistic Dinner is conducted by Dr Peter Meyer and Prof. Dr Jochen Arnold. The sermon is given by Rev Ulrike Scherf, Deputy President of the EKHN.
